These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of leviasmobilenotary.com (the "Website") and to notary and related services provided by Levias Mobile Notary Service ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Website, submitting a form, booking an appointment or receiving our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our services

We provide mobile notary, remote online notarization (RON), loan signing agent, apostille assistance, document delivery and related services in King, Pierce and Snohomish Counties and other areas of Washington State. We are commissioned by the State of Washington and follow the requirements of chapter 42.45 RCW and chapter 308-30 WAC.

2. Not legal advice

We are notaries public, not attorneys licensed in Washington. We cannot give legal advice, explain the legal effect of a document, help you choose which document or form you need, or fill out legal documents for you. If you have legal questions about your document, please contact an attorney before your appointment.

3. What a notarization does and doesn't do

A notarization verifies the identity of the signer and records that the signer appeared, and, where applicable, signed willingly or took an oath. It does not make a document legal, true or valid, and we do not verify the accuracy of a document's contents. We may refuse or stop a notarization if:

• the signer can't be properly identified

• the signer appears not to understand the document or to be acting under pressure

• the document is incomplete

• the notarization would violate Washington law

4. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• Have every signer present, with a current, valid government-issued photo ID (or credible witnesses as allowed by law).

• Bring complete documents with no blank spaces, and leave the documents unsigned until the notary is present, unless the notary instructs otherwise.

• Provide accurate contact, appointment and document information.

• Make sure the signer is alert, willing and able to understand what they're signing. For hospital, care-facility or jail appointments, confirm in advance that the facility allows the visit and that the signer can communicate.

• Have any required witnesses present, unless you've arranged for us to provide them.

5. Fees and payment

• Notarial fees follow Washington's maximums: up to $15 per notarial act and up to $25 per remote notarial act.

• Travel, convenience, after-hours, printing, courier, apostille processing and similar service fees are separate from the notarial fee and not required by law. We will tell you about these fees and get your agreement before the appointment.

• Travel fees are based on the distance from Federal Way to your appointment location and are quoted when you book.

• Payment is due at the time of service unless agreed otherwise in writing. We accept credit and debit cards, cash, Zelle, Cash App and Venmo. Businesses such as title and escrow companies, signing services and law firms may be invoiced by arrangement.

• Fees for travel, time and services already provided are earned even if a notarization can't be completed for reasons outside our control, such as missing ID, incomplete documents, a signer who is unable or unwilling to sign, or a facility that denies access.

6. Cancellations, rescheduling and no-shows

You may cancel or reschedule at no charge up to 60 minutes before your appointment time. Cancellations made within 60 minutes of the appointment, and no-shows, are subject to a $25 cancellation fee. To cancel or reschedule, call or text 206-207-4551 or email [email protected]. If we must cancel or will be late, we'll contact you as soon as possible and help reschedule.

7. Remote online notarization (RON)

Remote notarizations are performed through a secure third-party platform that meets Washington requirements. As required by law, each remote notarization is recorded by audio and video, and the recording is kept for at least ten years. You need a device with a camera, microphone and a stable internet connection, and you must complete the platform's identity checks. Some receiving agencies, counties or countries may not accept remotely notarized documents. Please confirm acceptance with the receiving party before booking.

8. Apostille and document services

For apostille and authentication requests, we help prepare and submit documents to the appropriate authority. Government processing times, fees and decisions are out of our control, and we can't guarantee approval or turnaround times. Government fees and shipping costs are separate from our service fees.

9. Text messages (SMS)

If you choose to opt in to text messages from Levias Mobile Notary Service, we will send messages related to your requests and appointments. These include appointment confirmations, reminders, updates, follow-ups and customer support. If you separately opt in to marketing messages, we may also send occasional offers and announcements.

• Message frequency varies.

• Message and data rates may apply.

• Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help, or call 206-207-4551.

• Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying any service.

• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

• Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data are not shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

10. Website use

The content on this Website is for general information only and may change without notice. You may not copy, republish or sell Website content without our written permission. You agree not to use the Website or our forms for unlawful purposes, false submissions or spam. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; we aren't responsible for their content or practices.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Levias Mobile Notary Service is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Website or our services. This includes delays caused by third parties, document rejection by a receiving party, or errors in documents we did not prepare. Our total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service, except where Washington law does not allow this limit. Nothing in these Terms limits remedies available under a notary's bond or Washington law.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington, unless both parties agree to another location or method.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when they last changed. Continued use of the Website or our services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
